“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”
Live in therapy
The Centre for Purposeful Living offers retreat style living for periods of solace and more intensive therapy.
Therapy is offered to individuals and couples for any struggles they may be enduring, including: relationship concerns, sex-therapy and addiction.
Workshops and group therapy
Workshops and regular groups will be run to address specific concerns such as addiction.
The Centre for Purposeful Living has been a long time dream of psychologist Jason Ross and has finally been made possible by the love and passion he shares with his partner Fiona Brittion.

The Centre for Purposeful Living offers bespoke therapy interventions that are designed according to the specific needs of a group, individual or couple. The centre focuses particularly on relationships, sexuality and addiction. It is offered as an alternative to more medicalised and pathologising approaches to these kinds of human concerns. We take an existential approach to human struggles, trusting in each individual’s capacity for resilience that is most likely born out of finding meaning and purpose in everyday life. Compassion, mindfulness and an urgency to make the most of life are at the heart of everything we do.
